It was very much a surprise to receive a commission from the LA Times to draw an illustrated map of Yorkshire.They were running an article about a road trip through the Dales and required an illustration to depict the different areas that the writer had passed through. It was a lovely commission; drawing various locations that I have visited myself in the past.
